Blue Anchor — Terms of Service & Liability Waiver
Blue Anchor
Effective date: July 29, 2026
This is a single combined agreement covering both the Terms of Service (Part 1) and the Liability Waiver & Release (Part 2) below. You agree to both by checking the agreement box on Blue Anchor’s application form.
Part 1 — Terms of Service
1. Who We Are
Blue Anchor (“Blue Anchor,” “we,” “us”) is an independent concierge service based in Seoul, South Korea. We assist international patients — primarily from the United States — in coordinating dental treatment logistics in Korea. Blue Anchor is not a medical provider, dental clinic, hospital, insurer, or licensed medical professional. All dental diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment is provided solely by independent, third-party licensed dental clinics selected by Blue Anchor (each, a “Clinic”).
2. Services Provided
Depending on the package selected, Blue Anchor provides some or all of the following services on the client’s (“Client,” “you”) behalf:
- Coordination and scheduling of appointments with the Clinic
- Airport pickup and local transportation coordination
- Professional interpreter accompaniment during clinic visits
- Trip planning and itinerary support for the Client’s stay in Korea
- Accommodation booking assistance
- Translation of diagnosis and treatment plan documents into English
Blue Anchor does not provide medical advice, perform any medical or dental procedure, or make treatment decisions on the Client’s behalf. All such matters are solely between the Client and the Clinic.
3. Fees
Fees for the selected package are as displayed on Blue Anchor’s website and confirmed at the time of booking. Additional at-cost items (such as interpretation, accommodation, and local transportation) and dental treatment costs billed by the Clinic are separate from the concierge fee.
The concierge fee is due in full at the time of booking confirmation.
Estimated treatment costs shared with the Client prior to travel are preliminary estimates only, based on diagnosis information the Client provides (e.g., a prior U.S. diagnosis). The Clinic will conduct its own examination in Korea, and the final diagnosis and price may differ from the preliminary estimate.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms will be confirmed as part of the booking confirmation.
5. Founding Patient Program
Clients enrolled as one of the first ten Founding Patients will receive: a numbered Founding Patient designation displayed on Blue Anchor’s website, a personalized travel plan, an “Exit Folder” summarizing their treatment and travel documentation, and direct access to Blue Anchor’s founder throughout their journey.
Participation in the Founding Patient Program requires the Client’s cooperation with photo and/or video documentation of their journey, governed by Blue Anchor’s separate Media Consent Agreement.
6. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate personal, medical, and travel information
- Obtain and carry valid travel documents (passport, visa if required)
- Communicate directly with the Clinic regarding all treatment decisions, risks, and consent to treatment
- Arrange appropriate travel insurance
Part 2 — Liability Waiver & Release
7. Acknowledgment of Blue Anchor’s Role
I understand and acknowledge that Blue Anchor is a concierge coordination service only. Blue Anchor is not a medical provider, does not employ or supervise medical or dental professionals, and does not perform, direct, or influence any dental diagnosis or treatment. All dental care I receive is provided entirely by an independent, licensed Clinic selected by Blue Anchor, and my relationship regarding treatment, diagnosis, informed consent, and treatment outcomes is solely with that Clinic.
8. No Responsibility for Medical Outcomes
I release Blue Anchor from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising from or related to the dental diagnosis, treatment, procedures, or outcomes I receive from any Clinic, including but not limited to complications, dissatisfaction with results, or the need for follow-up or corrective treatment.
9. Interpretation & Translation Services
I understand that interpretation and translation services provided by Blue Anchor are offered on a best-effort basis. For any medical decision, including consent to treatment, I understand it is my responsibility to confirm my understanding directly with the Clinic’s medical staff, and I will not rely solely on Blue Anchor’s interpretation for medical decision-making.
10. Travel & Logistics Risk
I understand that international travel carries inherent risks, including but not limited to flight delays, lost luggage, illness, and accidents. I assume these risks and release Blue Anchor from liability for losses or injuries arising from travel, transportation, or accommodation arrangements made on my behalf, except where caused by Blue Anchor’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
11. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blue Anchor, its founder, and any representatives from claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of my use of Blue Anchor’s services, except where caused by Blue Anchor’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
12. Governing Law
[Governing law and dispute resolution jurisdiction — to be added]
13. Changes to This Agreement
Blue Anchor may update this agreement from time to time. Clients will be notified of material changes before they take effect for any services not yet rendered.
